Introductions

My name is Ryan. I am a 32 year old artist living in a small failed-farming community. I grew up in a nearby nearly-as-small town named Madison, OH, the same as my father. I am divorced, currently single, with a two-year old son. I live alone. Although I have worked in manufacturing and customer service most of my life, I am currently an Engineering student. I have an Associates in Computer Technology and a variety of certifications in IT and Engineering related disciplines.

If you have questions already, the title of my blog might be the first. The name "Jail Baby" was given to me by Howard Stern when I came to play a game on his former terrestrial radio show and tell of my life. I was born to an inmate. Things did not get any less strange after that.

Throughout this blog I will tell stories of my odd life, viewed through an altered artistic perception augmented by a near superhuman sense of vision. I will discuss what views I have on all manner of topics, as well as discuss living with my mental issues. I am manic and it colors not only my life, but my art (same thing). I have been depressed, suicidal, and full of overwhelming joy. I have traveled extensively and lived exhaustively. I am a comic book, anime, and pop culture nerd. I will also bitch, complain, and otherwise chatter.

Comment at will. Criticism is welcome. Abusive speech will not be tolerated. I believe in free speech with responsibility. I accept that, somewhere along the way, I will piss someone off.

I will often talk of people in my life, and to protect the not-so-innocent, most will be given a pseudonym, most likely a single letter. Those who know me will likely know of whom I am speaking. 

This will likely be the shortest post, as I rarely shut up.
